Ananda Rooms

The rooms at Ananda are infused with natural Himalayan light, designed to imbibe the feel of the mountains. Built on a mountain ridge, the guest rooms offer breathtaking view of the valley and the city of Rishikesh or the Palace. The rooms have been designed in a minimalist and holistic fashion with wooden floors offset by essential furniture, walk- in closet and well-lit marble bathrooms with sunken bathtub facing bay windows offering exquisite views. One of the main features of the rooms is the independent patio balcony with breath taking view of the Himalayas, where one can relax or even practice Yoga.

The Viceregal Suite
This Suite, with a wrap around terrace, outdoor Jacuzzi and its own telescope, embodies the graciousness of a bygone era. Located in the Palace annex, in an area of 220 sqm, it exudes the warmth of Indian hospitality, with special local touches in the decor - framed antique Jamawar fabric, gold painted wooden artifacts and pillars with intricate paintings by Rajasthani master craftsman. The other facilities of this suite include a spacious dining and living room with seating for six, a bedroom with a four-poster bed, an adjoining dressing area and a separate shower and steam room.
